I am a licensed psychologist specializing in adult psychotherapy with a part-time private practice in Frisco, Texas. In addition, I am scheduled to continue part-time therapy work at UNT’s Frisco campus. My first career was as a psychiatric nurse in the DFW area. This afforded me the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

I recently authored a children’s book titled Roxy the Therapy Dog Gets a Helper, inspired by my work in Animal Assisted Therapy and my belief in the power of an animal’s love to bring about emotional healing.
